Podcast 2 - voice and choice in primary classrooms
22 Mar 2021
by Sam

Our second podcast explores a culture of advocacy in the classroom. This episode highlights the opportunities if we value children's voice and choice, within their learning.

This interview between Mackenzie (from EquippingKids) and her mum Stacey Mountford, a primary school teacher in the Ontario School system, promotes the need for time to be spend enabling those possibilities for children to actively take a lead in their learning.

In the current climate it reflects some important questions about how children learn best and what we can learn from disruption to children's regular school experience.
